If there’s one thing that can make airport travel a little more enjoyable, it’s a great lounge. And let me tell you—Capital One just set a new standard with their latest lounge opening at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). I was lucky enough to be there on opening day, February 22nd, 2025, and I can confidently say this is the best airport lounge in the U.S.
Walking into the brand-new Capital One Lounge at LAS, I was immediately blown away by the modern design, spacious layout, and high-end finishes. It felt like stepping into a five-star hotel, not an airport lounge. The vibe is elegant yet comfortable, with stylish seating areas, warm lighting, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering incredible views of the runway.
As someone who travels frequently and always seeks out the best lounge experiences, this space instantly became my new favorite. There’s something about walking into an exclusive, well-designed area away from the usual airport chaos that just makes traveling so much better.
One of the best parts about this lounge? I got in for free, thanks to my Capital One Venture X card. If you’re a Venture X or Venture X Business cardholder, you get unlimited complimentary access, plus two free guest passes per visit. Additional guests can enter for just $45, and all other travelers can access the lounge for $90 per visit.
This perk alone makes the Venture X card worth it for frequent travelers. Lounges are the ultimate travel hack—they provide a place to relax, nap, grab a drink, eat a great meal, or get some work done before your flight. But this lounge? It takes that experience to another level.
One of my biggest pet peeves with airport food is that it’s usually overpriced and mediocre. That’s not the case here. The chef-inspired menu includes a mix of healthy options and indulgent treats, all made with locally sourced ingredients.

Unlike many airport lounges that feel tucked away in a dark corner, the Capital One Lounge in Las Vegas has expansive windows overlooking the runway. It’s the perfect spot to relax and watch planes take off as you sip on a signature cocktail.
Capital One already has lounges in Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Denver (DEN), and Washington Dulles (IAD), and they’re continuing to expand. But oddly enough, they haven’t announced much about the Las Vegas location. That’s one of the reasons I wanted to write this post—more people need to know about this amazing lounge!
